Meet DTD at AEHS and SWANA conferences in March

Posted on

DTD representatives will be attending two major conferences in California this month.

Stop by and visit with DTD representatives at the Association for Environmental Health and Science Foundation’s 24th International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy and Air being held this year at the Marriott Mission Valley in San Diego. At Booth #18, you can learn about the latest advances in horizontal directional drilling for environmental applications, pick up a case history or two, and discuss your challenges and potential projects with the DTD staff who actually design and manage your projects.

The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is holding their Landfill Symposium on March 24th through the 27th at the Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay, Monterey, California. The symposium will focus on the latest issues facing owners, operators and consultants who work in the landfill arena. Technical training, poster sessions and exhibits are all available at this 18th annual event.

Mike Lubrecht’s poster, titled “Sampling Beneath Capped Mixed-Waste Cell, using Horizontal Directional Drilling Technology”, highlights how horizontal/directional drilling methods can be used to access and sample soil under landfill waste without penetrating liners. Mike’s poster will be presented from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm on Monday, March 24th.
