The cold winter and wet spring seemed to stall the early season pipeline construction. Its not likely weather actually slowed the start of most projects; regardless, whatever caused the slow down, it has passed. The number of pipeline projects starting has increased.
DTD is involved in HDD crossings of water bodies in the desert west and in Pennsylvania. Both water bodies are valuable natural resources, and trenching creates too large of an environmental impact. As such, we will be starting a 1,000 ft HDD beneath the Pecos River for the installation of 16″ pipeline, and 1,300 ft HDD beneath a large Pennsylvania wetland for the installation of 8″ pipeline.
