David Bardsley, P.G., Joins DTD!
David Bardsley, P.G., a leading horizontal and vertical well drilling executive, joins Directed Technologies Drilling, Inc. (DTD) today (July 8), as National Business Development Manager. Bardsley will be responsible for business development and technical support activities for DTD’s business lines including horizontal environmental well installations, water supply construction and trenchless utility and pipeline installation.
Based in Phoenix, AZ, Bardsley will work closely with consulting firms, federal agencies, pipeline companies, and other DTD clients to use horizontal directional drilling to solve subsurface challenges.
“David brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to DTD,” notes Dan Ombalski, DTD President. “As a Professional Geologist, he has the education and skills to help our clients achieve the results they need for their projects.”
Bardsley has more than 29 years of drilling industry experience. His horizontal drilling experience includes the supervision of more than 100,000 ft. of wells, including 76 blind completions. Bardsley is well known in the drilling community, having presented papers and served on panels at research and water resource associations, including the National Groundwater Association and the Battelle Memorial Institute. Bardsley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology & Geophysics with a Communications Minor from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). He is a licensed well driller in Texas and Louisiana and holds Registered Geologist/Professional Geologist certifications in Texas, Missouri and Tennessee.
