DTD recently conducted a video inspection of a horizontal remediation well that has been in use as a product recovery well. DTD installed the 900 foot well in 2007, and it has been in continuous operation since. In recent months the well began showing signs of decreasing pumping rates and a well rehabilitation program was initiated.

DTD worked with the consultant to specify and implement the well cleaning. To document the cleaning efforts, a well video was conducted. The video allowed viewing of 800 feet of entry casing and well screen. In the screen capture shown below, LNAPL can be seen in an oblong bubble, pooled along the top of the horizontal well screen.
