Patrick Ferringer, PG Joins DTD as Project Geologist

BELLEFONTE, PA; February 21, 2017 – Patrick Ferringer, PG, has joined DTD as the newest member of our technical and management team. A registered professional geologist in four states, Mr. Ferringer is an experienced environmental geologist with consulting experience at Northgate Environmental and CH2M.

Mr. Ferringer earned his BA in Geology at The College of Wooster, with field work through Indiana University. In his early career he both operated and managed drilling on environmental sites, installing wells for monitoring and recovery. During almost 10 years of consulting  since, Patrick developed expertise at applying his geologic observations to developing site conceptual models to better understanding contaminant transport.

“With hands-on-drilling experience and his ability for critical geologic analysis, Mr. Ferringer is uniquely qualified to assist DTD clients in the field and during project preparation,” notes DTD President, Dan Ombalski. “Patrick will be valuable to our project teams in communicating team goals and managing projects to a successful conclusion.”

Patrick will work from the his residence in North Carolina, supporting projects across the United States. He is an avid fly fisherman, and volunteers with local public land conservation and historic site (Colonial Frontier and Civil War Battlefield) preservation groups. Patrick is scheduled to provide field management expertise for DTD’s large project at a remote Alaskan site this summer.
